The Blessing Time: Sight Saving and Life Changing in Fiji Fiji is a place of unimaginable beauty
where colors rule majestic in the water and on land. Everywhere one looks there are truly magnificent sights to behold. However,
far too many of the residents of the hundreds of Islands of Fiji are unable to see these sights. Large portions of the Island’s
population suffer from severe eye disorders. The chances of them having costly corrective procedures have been non-existant.
They live in a paradise they cannot envision. They see neither the beauty of their land nor the faces of their families and
friends. All they can behold is a dull glow of dim light, so they exist completely overlooked by society. They are looked
down upon as unproductive and as a burden to society. This is the
story of Doctor Jerold and Dorothy Beeve and the time of year when the doctors of the Beeve Foundation for World Eye and Health
Care, Inc. come to Fiji, known as The Blessing Time!
